Orbis are appointed to the B2G VS Voids Services framework. Any UK contracting authority can direct award any contract to Orbis to deliver a comprehensive all-in-one vacant property management service for any property, anywhere in the UK, comprising 

• property clearance, 

• cleaning, 

• protection and 

• maintenance services, 

together with a call centre facility capable of offering both business and out-of-hours service to co-ordinate all of the above.

Orbis share top rank on the B2G MWX framework, and B2G frameworks facilitate the direct award of any contract to any appointed supplier who shares top rank (as well as the option to invite all appointed suppliers to participate in a mini-competition).

Multiple works & contracts in a single procurement

Our 'direct & dynamic' format also enables all or part of a project or programme to be assigned under the auspices of the B2G framework to a specialist registered on the B2G DPS (either directly or via mini-competition). The DPS registrant then contracts directly with the client for that element of the project/programme, and delivers it whilst fully adhering to the same standards set out in the framework terms. This has multiple benefits:

• clients can streamline interconnected programmes into a single procurement, 

• risk is correctly assigned and controlled within the supply chain;

• clients can access the best available and most suitable suppliers at all times, for every phase of a project; and

• clients can optimise and expand the supply chain and avoid the limitations of a 'closed shop' 

By way of example, with regards to voids repairs & upgrades, whilst Orbis co-ordinates & manages the client's vacant property, the building works can be assigned to a trusted local contractor, where builder and client contracting directly for the works element makes most sense from both risk & commercial management perspectives.

Moreover, B2G frameworks support UK.gov guidelines to complete multiple jobs at the same time, to minimise occupier disruption. So the scope of every B2G call-off allows for the inclusion of 'all associated works supplies and services'.
