MD are registered on the B2G DPS and can now be awarded projects by any contracting authority anywhere in the UK.

Moreover, alongside the usual option of inviting MD to participate in a DPS tender, clients also have the option of assigning projects to MD directly:

B2G 'Dynamic Open Frameworks' 

B2G frameworks are scoped to support UK.gov guidelines to complete multiple jobs on the same visit or project, to minimise occupier disruption. with that in mind:-

Firstly, alongside the core activity the scope of any call-off project can also include any and 'all associated works suppliers and services'.

And secondly, our 'direct & dynamic' format enables all or part of a project or programme to be assigned under the auspices of the B2G framework to a specialist registered on the B2G DPS (either directly or via mini-competition). The DPS registrant then contracts with the client for that element of the project/programme, and delivers it whilst fully adhering to the same standards set out in the framework terms. This has multiple benefits:

• clients can streamline interconnected programmes into a single procurement;

• risk is correctly assigned and controlled within the supply chain;

• clients can always access the best available and most suitable contractor at all times, for every phase of a project; and

• clients can optimise and expand the supply chain and avoid the limitations of a 'closed shop' 

This is of particular relevance to our roofing and minor works frameworks, where clients are able to assign the solar PV elements to a specialist such as MD, who may also be undertaking other RE programmes across the client's estate, and run the two contracts under the one procurement, with roofing and RE specialist able to co-ordinate activities more effectively.
