Etec are a London based multi-disciplinary building contractor established in 2005. Initially focused on electrical services, we began to diversify with our clients’ needs to undertake refurbishments, extensions, fit-outs & new-build schemes across London & the South East.
We deliver projects in the leisure, education, retail, healthcare, and housing sectors and have built a strong reputation for completing projects on time with maximum client satisfaction time and time again.
We offer a professional approach with a personal touch and enjoy high volumes of repeat business through these methods that comes with being a family owned company. As a result of this we now deliver contracts across the country.
By selecting Etec to deliver your project, you can be confident that you are engaging a fully committed main contractor who will deliver your project on time and to the highest standard.
Through B2G, any UK contracting authority can direct award any contract to Etec to deliver any project or programme anywhere in the UK.
Etec are appointed to the B2G MWX Minor Works framework, where they share top rank, and B2G frameworks facilitate the direct award of any contract to any appointed supplier who shares top rank (as well as the option to invite all appointed suppliers to participate in a mini-competition).
B2G's 'direct & dynamic' framework format also enables all or part of a project or programme to be assigned under the B2G framework to a specialist registered on the B2G DPS (either directly or via mini-competition). The DPS registrant then contracts directly with the client for that element of the project/programme, and delivers it whilst fully adhering to the same standards set out in the framework terms. This has multiple benefits:
clients can streamline interconnected programmes into a single procurement,
risk is correctly assigned and controlled within the supply chain;
clients can access the best available and most suitable suppliers at all times, for every phase of a project; and
clients can optimise and expand the supply chain and avoid the limitations of a 'closed shop'
By way of example, with regards to renewable & energy efficiency upgrades, whilst a client may want Etec to co-ordinate & deliver the client's minor works programme, specialist elements such as solar PV, where design & network connectivity are both complex and bespoke, can be assigned to an RE tech specialist, who may also be undertaking projects for the client elsewhere in their estate, and where contracting directly with that specialist for that element makes most sense from both risk & commercial management perspectives.
