Pitched & Solar Roofing

Any UK contracting authority can direct award any contract to Central to deliver any project or programme anywhere in the UK.

They share top rank on the B2G PSR framework, and B2G frameworks facilitate the direct award of any contract to any appointed supplier who shares top rank (as well as the option to invite all appointed suppliers to participate in a mini-competition).

Central install all major systems including Marley, Redland, Sandtoft, Cedral, Britmet, Langley and Metrotile.

Flat Roofing

Any UK contracting authority can also  direct assign any contract to Central to deliver any project or programme anywhere in the UK.

They can do this thanks to B2G's 'dynamic open framework' format, where a client direct awards the appointed system supplier via the B2G FRS Flat Roofing Systems framework and the contract is then assigned to their approved contractor to install. 

Central is an approved installer of Alumasc, Langley, Soprema and Triflex full systems.

B2G 'Dynamic Open Frameworks' 

Our 'dynamic open' format enables all or part of a project or programme to be assigned under the auspices of the B2G framework to a specialist registered on the B2G DPS (either directly or via mini-competition). The DPS registrant then contracts with the client for that element of the project/programme, and delivers it whilst fully adhering to the same standards set out in the framework terms. This has multiple benefits:

• clients can streamline interconnected programmes into a single procurement* 

• risk is correctly assigned and controlled within the supply chain;

• clients can access the best available and most suitable suppliers at all times, for every phase of a project; and

• clients can optimise and expand the supply chain and avoid the limitations of a 'closed shop' 

With regards to flat roofing, it also assures clients of the full involvement of a leading national system supplier in both design & warranty, whilst contracting directly with a trusted contractor, like Central, to manage & deliver all on site operations.

With regards to pitched roofing projects/programmes, this enables clients to contract directly with Central to manage and deliver their roofing programme, whilst specialist elements such as solar PV, where design & network connectivity are both complex and bespoke, can be assigned to an RE tech specialist, who may also be known to the client, and where contracting directly with that specialist for that element makes most sense from both risk & commercial management perspectives.

B2G frameworks are always scoped to support UK.gov guidelines to complete multiple jobs on the same visit or project to minimise occupier disruption, and so alongside the primary focus of each framework, the scope of any call-off project can also include 'all associated works, goods and services'.
