Alumasc are appointed to the B2G FRS Flat Roofing Full Systems framework.

Any UK contracting authority can direct award any contract to any Alumasc approved contractor to deliver any flat or flat-to-pitched roofing project or programme anywhere in the UK.

The  initial direct award is to Alumasc via the B2G FRS Flat Roofing Systems framework, and then thanks to B2G's 'dynamic open framework' format, the contract can then be assigned to an Alumasc approved contractor to install. The contractor must be registered on the B2G DPS, but because you can register for a DPS at any time, it means clients are always able to engage the best available contractor to deliver the project.

B2G 'Dynamic Open Frameworks' 

Our 'dynamic open' format enables all or part of a project or programme to be assigned under the auspices of the B2G framework to a specialist registered on the B2G DPS (either directly or via mini-competition). The DPS registrant then contracts with the client for that element of the project/programme, and delivers it whilst fully adhering to the same standards set out in the framework terms. This has multiple benefits:

• clients can streamline interconnected programmes into a single procurement, 

• risk is correctly assigned and controlled within the supply chain;

• clients can access the best available and most suitable suppliers at all times; and

• clients can expand the supply chain and avoid the limitations of a 'closed shop' 

This approach ensures clients benefit BOTH from the design, installation & warranty of an Alumasc full system AND work directly with a trusted local contractor to manage the installation & all on site operations.
